 The renowned Music of Joy group are visiting Tasmania during June 2026 to present their vibrant and uplifting music that has been created to bring joy to the spirit. Drawing from both Eastern and Western sources, their music has been described by audiences as ‘Heart opening’, ‘Joyful”, ‘Soothing’, ‘Uplifting’ and ‘Sublime’.

Sessions include the experience of Sahaja Yoga meditation for mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being.

The renowned Music of Joy group will be presenting their delightful and vibrant songs taken from countries from all over the globe. The Meditation

A guided meditation will be provided with a video presentation by HH Shri Mataji, founder of Sahaja Yoga. Her meditation provides a unique experience of true meditation. The sessions include tips on how to help stay in balance during the day and how to meditate at home.

About Music of Joy

How to meditate

Find a quiet place, remove shoes and sit comfortably on a chair or on the floor. If you wish, you can also setup a meditation table to enhance the meditation. Place a framed photo of Shri Mataji on a table in front of you, with a lit candle and optional flowers and incense. A meditation card with Shri Mataji’s photo can be downloaded from here.

Free online courses

Free online courses in over 10 languages to discover the peace and joy within for mental, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being. Daily live and recorded sessions for everyone – Beginners, Intermediate and Advanced Sessions. No previous experience in meditation required. Do as many sessions as you wish – no need to do all the sessions.
